  Climbing the Dom Tower is a great way to get acquainted with beautiful, mediaeval Utrecht. This spot, where once a Roman fortress stood, is the true birthplace of the province. From the top of the 14th-century cathedral’s tower, the tallest in Holland, you have wonderful views of the city and its surroundings.
